I am! And I was! It's... okay. So, predators do hibernate too, some of them at least, right? And for the pray a prime number hibernation period just takes care of the fact that as long as the predators don't have exactly the same hibernation period (from now on called 'hp') and starting point? Very small chances to see each other ever. And even if they do, like, if the predator's hp is the least common multiple of the prey's hp, it reduces the chances of them meeting each other often quite a lot. So, no sense in specializing in hunting a kind of prey if it's never around. You know?
