I used to see pic spasms of this show and be like “I wish I was that girl” and then watched the episode and was like ‘Epp! Never mind.’
That's why there are so many Callum's picspam around! Easy on the eye and much less traumatizing!

I specially liked the DVD commentary thing:
Cal wanted to do the struggling scene for real ‘for the reality of it’ to the point that the actress was sore after it.
Makes me think of your comment quoted above. And other similar comments - from Lucid's director for instance, from his own comments on acting in Flesh and Bone - for the sake of reality, he seems to be hard on chairs, on other actors and on himself. Maybe he comes with a warning "does everything real". Depends on the kind of scene you have to share, I guess :)

Would you care to elaborate on The director was uncomfortable filming a scene with Callum for the dark nature of it? Uncomfortable to ask Callum to play it? Uncomfortable for the scene itself?
