Yay POST! I still haven't watched the whole movie and so I couldn't participate in your lovely and very silly pole, but DUDE. Your rundown was as effortlessly charming as [what I've seen] of the film. Plus, your brain is all smart and stuff.
Christy's messy, needy, insides-on-the-outside humanity is both wildly appealing and easy to identify with, and the film's acknowledgment of nearly every character's loneliness, frustration and the difficulty of making satisfying connections with others is just cool
