I must confess, it is at times like this that I feel very fortunate to be Canadian. I never really was much of a Due South fan (he was good in it, but there was something a little too earnest about the show... I like my TV a bit darker), so I'm looking forward to seeing him front and center in a series that seems to be on the grittier side.
By the way, CKR was interviewed on the CBC radio show Q last week... http://www.cbc.ca/q/episodes/ It's the August 26th episode. His bit starts 15 minutes in. He talks at some length about Shattered, a bit about his drinking, about stepping into the limelight, and about the upcoming film Trigger that's premiering at TIFF in a couple of weeks and how Tracy Wright's cancer diagnosis prompted the making of it. It's a pretty good interview.
